Establishment of a "By-District" Election System for the Orange City Council was ordered
July 10, 2019 by the Superior Court of the State of California in the County of Orange.
District elections were held on November 3, 2020 for Districts 1, 2, 3 and 5.
The November 8, 2022 election in the City of Orange will be for the following:
The Mayor (at-large) for a full term of two (2) years;
three (3) Councilmember District seats (Districts 1, 4, and 6), each for a full term of four (4) years;
and Councilmember District seat 3 for a short term of two (2) years.
